White Beans Stewed
Ingredients
300 grams of White beans
400 grams of Fresh pork loin
2 Potatoes
3 Garlic cloves
1 Onion
2 Green peppers
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Olive oil
Chopped parsley
Water
Preparation
Step 1 : Soak the beans the night before. Cook the beans in water over low heat for 50 minutes. Reserve the cooked beans in their broth.
Step 2 : Finely chop the vegetables and sauté them in a pan with oil. Add this sofrito to the beans, season with salt, and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
Step 3 : Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Fry them in a pan with plenty of oil. Once golden, drain them and add to the beans.
Step 4 : Finally, sauté the chopped and salted pork loin in a pan.
Step 5 : When it's browned, add it to the beans, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve.
