Tomato Cream
Ingredients
¼ Finely chopped onions, fried in margarine
5 Washed tomatoes cut into pieces with skin
½ tablespoon of Sugar
½ Beef broth cube
½ cup of Water
½ Bay leaves
1 Chopped garlic clove
½ cup of Cream
½ cup of Milk
½ tablespoon of Cornstarch
½ pinch of Salt
½ pinch of Pepper
½ pinch of Oregano
½ pinch of Thyme
Preparation
Step 1 : Sauté the onions and garlic in a skillet.
Step 2 : Then, in a pot, add water, sugar, tomatoes, broth cube, and seasonings.
Step 3 : Once everything is cooked, let it cool and blend in a blender.
Step 4 : Then strain through a sieve and add a little milk mixed with dissolved cornstarch to thicken.
Step 5 : When serving, you can add cream, croutons, grated cheese, or chopped vegetables.
