Panctrucas with Longanizas
Ingredients
2 Longaniza breads
2 Medium potatoes
¼ Onion
1 Red bell pepper
½ Carrot strips
2 cups of Flour
1 cup of Chopped longaniza
Chopped cilantro
1 Celery sprig
2 Garlic cloves
½ cup of Peas
¼ cup of Rice
1 Egg
Parsley
Oregano
¾ cup of Milk
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, place vegetable oil, covering the entire bottom of the pot.
Step 2 : Add onion, carrot, bell pepper, longaniza, garlic, potatoes, and rice. Stir well. Add hot boiling water and salt. Let cook for 20 minutes.
Step 3 : In a separate container, place the wheat flour with boiling water in the center. Mix well and knead until forming a dough, using a rolling pin.
Step 4 : Then, knead well, stretch with a rolling pin, and cut into strips. Add these strips into the boiling water pot. Stir well.
Step 5 : Next, beat the egg with the milk and add to the boiling pot. Stir well and incorporate all ingredients.
Step 6 : After a few minutes, add dried oregano, cover, and let rest.
Step 7 : Ready to serve and enjoy.
