Papaya Cake

Ingredients

350 grams of Papaya

80 grams of Honey

4 Eggs

100 grams of Sugar

65 milliliters of Olive oil

1 tablespoon of Vanilla essence

125 grams of Yogurt

150 grams of Wheat flour

120 grams of Whole wheat flour

10 grams of Yeast

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : First, butter the mold we will use. Then cut the papaya into thick, long strips. Place these in the bottom of the mold.

Step 2 : Drizzle honey over the papaya and set aside.

Step 3 : In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar. Beat well for about 8 minutes until tripled in volume.

Step 4 : Gradually add the oil, then the vanilla, and mix well. Next, fold in the sifted flours.

Step 5 : Mix with gentle folding motions. Once ready, add a pinch of salt.

Step 6 : Pour the batter over the papayas in the mold. Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes.

Step 7 : Once done, serve and enjoy.
