Ingredients

½ Ounces of wheatmeal crackers

2 tablespoons of Sugar

3 tablespoons of Unsalted melted butter

1 tablespoon of Unflavored powdered gelatin

¼ cup of Milk

22 grams of Cream cheese

2 Eggs

½ teaspoon of Salt

1 cup of Dulce de leche

4 Red apples

½ cup of Granulated sugar

1 teaspoon of Ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons of Butter

Preparation

Step 1 : Preheat the oven to 160°C and place the rack in the middle.

Step 2 : Place the crackers in a processor along with the salt and sugar; add the melted butter until well combined.

Step 3 : Press this mixture into the base of a 20 cm by 20 cm mold. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool for five minutes on a wire rack.

Step 4 : For the filling, sprinkle the gelatin over cold milk in a bowl and let it rest for two minutes. In another container, beat the cream cheese, eggs, and gelatin mixture until well combined. Then, add the dulce de leche or manjar.

Step 5 : Pour the mixture over the cracker base and spread evenly. Bake in a bain-marie until the center is firm, about 45 minutes.

Step 6 : Let the cheesecake cool completely for at least two hours. Then refrigerate for at least six hours.

Step 7 : Peel the apples and cut into eight wedges. Melt the butter in a skillet, and when bubbling, add the fruit, sugar, and ground cinnamon.

Step 8 : Serve each slice of the cheesecake accompanied by cinnamon apples.
