Egg Bread
Ingredients
4 cups of Flour with baking powder
1 teaspoon of Baking soda
1 cup of Flower sugar
70 grams of Softened butter
2 Eggs
6 Yolks
¼ cup of Milk
1 Yolk lightly beaten with milk
1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
Preparation
Step 1 : Combine the flour with baking soda and flower sugar in a bowl.
Step 2 : Mix the butter with the eggs and yolks, then incorporate into the dry ingredients.
Step 3 : Add the vanilla essence. Mix well, adding enough milk to combine the ingredients and form a soft but not sticky dough.
Step 4 : Shape the dough into round buns, place them on a buttered baking sheet, and make a cross cut on the surface.
Step 5 : Brush the buns with the beaten yolk mixed with the spoonful of milk.
Step 6 : Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden.
