Ingredients
2 kilograms of Fresh blueberries
700 grams of Sugar
1 cup of Butter
2 teaspoons of Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon of Baking powder
1 tablespoon of Pureed blueberries

Preparation
Step 1 : Wash and remove the stems from fresh blueberries. If using dehydrated ones, soak them overnight in a cup of water.
Step 2 : Add the blueberries and sugar in a medium saucepan, stir gently until combined, and let rest for a couple of minutes.
Step 3 : Cook on very low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the blueberries start releasing a lot of juice.
Step 4 : Let it cook on low heat for another 20 minutes, avoiding caramelization, until you reach the desired consistency.
Step 5 : Store it in sterilized jars.
