Alfajor Cake
Ingredients
2 Eggs
8 Egg yolks
1 cup of Orange juice
50 grams of Butter
2 cups of Sifted flour
½ cup of Pisco or distilled water
⅓ teaspoon of Imperial baking powder
2 Cans of condensed milk turned into manjar
Peeled and chopped walnuts
Preparation
Step 1 : Prepare an elastic dough that doesn't stick to your hands, knead until it sounds, let it rest covered (with a cloth) for 30 minutes.
Step 2 : Divide into pieces and roll out like a sheet of paper, cut out disks.
Step 3 : Prick with a fork, place on a clean baking sheet for 5 minutes. Then, turn it over without letting the sheet brown in the oven.
Step 4 : Fill with manjar; at the end, decorate with crumbles of the same dough and manjar, as well as walnuts.
