Tongue in Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients

1 Tongue
3 Tomatoes
1 Onion
200 grams of Mushrooms
Butter
½ Bell Pepper
Oil
Preparation
Step 1 : First, cut the onion into thick slices.
Step 2 : In a skillet, add the onion along with the julienned or thickly sliced tomatoes, and finally some slices of bell pepper. Cook over low heat, sautéing with a little oil. Season with a pinch of salt on top.
Step 3 : In another pot, add mushrooms with oil or butter and cook until golden over low heat.
Step 4 : In a blender, combine the tomato sauce from the skillet, then add a bit of broth from cooking the tongue and a teaspoon of cooked mushrooms. Blend very well.
Step 5 : Then, add this blended mixture to a skillet along with the large pieces of cooked tongue. The tongue has already been cooked in water, but we add 10 more minutes of cooking.
Step 6 : After this time, add the mushrooms. Mix very well.
Step 7 : Once ready, serve and enjoy with rice or salad.
