El pilco

Ingredients

1 cup of Grains

6 Corn cobs

2 Onions

2 Garlic cloves

6 Basil leaves

1 Chili pepper

Oil

Pumpkin

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Chop the corn cobs, pumpkin, and wash them along with the grains and set aside.

Step 2 : In a pot with water, add the grains along with the pumpkin and basil, plus a bit of salt, and cook for half an hour.

Step 3 : In a skillet with 2 tablespoons of oil, add the onions and the rest of the ingredients, cooking for about 8 minutes.

Step 4 : Then, in the pot with grains, add the corn and let it cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 5 : Next, mix the sauté with the pumpkin mixture from the pot and continue cooking for 5 more minutes.

Step 6 : Serve and add a little butter.
