Ingredients

1 kilogram of Chickpeas

1 kilogram of Chorizo

6 Red peppers

2 tablespoons of Pork lard

3 tablespoons of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The chickpeas should be soaked in a pot with water the day before preparing the dish.

Step 2 : The next day, dispose of the soaking water and add fresh water to the pot.

Step 3 : Next, wash and chop the peppers.

Step 4 : Then, place the pot with the chickpeas on the stove, adding salt and chopped peppers.

Step 5 : After 20 minutes, remove the pot from the heat.

Step 6 : Then, cut the chorizo into small pieces and fry it in a skillet with lard for 4 minutes.

Step 7 : Next, mix the chorizo with the chickpeas and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 8 : Finally, the dish is ready to be served and enjoyed.
