Chicken and Rice Meatballs

Chicken and Rice Meatballs

Ingredients

400 grams of Chicken breast

50 grams of Rice

1 Egg

1 Garlic clove

1 Onion

1 Green pepper

400 grams of Potatoes

250 grams of Carrots

1 A splash of olive oil

Flour

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : Debone the chicken breast, remove the skin, boil, and chop it.

Step 2 : Then, cook the rice for 25 minutes in boiling salted water. Once cooked, drain it, make a paste, and mix it with the chicken.

Step 3 : Chop the garlic clove and add it along with the egg to the chicken and rice mixture.

Step 4 : Then, season the meatball mixture with salt, form into small balls, coat them with flour, and lightly fry until they develop color on the outside.

Step 5 : Chop the onion, carrot, and green pepper, and sauté the vegetables in olive oil.

Step 6 : Once the vegetables are sautéed, bind everything with a little flour, cover with some water, and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Step 7 : Pass the vegetables through a sieve or blender and adjust the seasoning with salt.

Step 8 : Place the fried meatballs into this sauce and let them cook for another 15 minutes over low heat.

Step 9 : Add some diced fried potatoes to the sauce and meatballs, serve hot.
