Ingredients

1 kilogram of Frozen corn

½ liter of Milk

Basil or dried oregano

1 Onion

1 pinch of Salt

Oil

Pre-cooked beef and chicken

Preparation

Step 1 : Grind the corn in a food processor until it becomes a smooth paste.

Step 2 : Cook over medium heat until the color intensifies and the mixture thickens.

Step 3 : Once it boils, gradually add the milk and keep stirring.

Step 4 : When everything is integrated, season with salt and add basil or oregano.

Step 5 : In a separate pot, heat some oil and sauté the onions. Then add the chicken and beef, and cook.

Step 6 : Place part of the corn mixture into a baking dish and assemble the pie.

Step 7 : Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbling.

Step 8 : There are two ways to assemble the pie. One is layering the dough and then the chicken and meat, like a lasagna.

Step 9 : The other is placing a base of dough, then filling it with the stew, and topping with another layer of corn dough. Both methods turn out great, and adventurous cooks sometimes add Parmesan cheese before baking.

Step 10 : You can also prepare individual mini pies in small casseroles.
