Loco with Mayonnaise
Ingredients
6 Washed and chopped loco
½ tablespoon of Oil
1 pinch of Salt
½ Onion cut into four
½ Seedless pepper
½ Garlic clove
½ cup of Mayonnaise
½ teaspoon of Whisky
Lemon drops
Preparation
Step 1 : Put the oil, onion, sliced pepper, salt, and loco in a pot. Cover with water and boil for approximately 40 minutes or until tender. Remove from the broth, cool, and cut into pieces (optional).
Step 2 : For homemade mayo, place 1 yolk on a plate and, stirring always in the same direction with a fork, slowly add drops of oil until it thickens and the mayonnaise is ready. Add lemon drops, salt, pepper, and a teaspoon of whisky to give it a special touch.
Step 3 : Once everything is ready, serve the loco on a plate, which can be whole or sliced (your preference), and place the homemade mayonnaise in a small bowl. Decorate the loco with chopped cilantro, parsley, or chives to add some color to the dish.
Step 4 : Additionally, you can accompany them with a potato mayo salad, which can be served on the same plate, and the final touch, White Cat Wine. Remember to keep it in the refrigerator to ensure it’s at the ideal temperature.
