Cola de Mono

Cola de Mono is a cocktail made with aguardiente, milk, coffee, sugar, and spices. Some of the spices you can include, if you prefer, are cinnamon, anise, clove, vanilla, and orange peel. Truly a delight!

This is a traditional Chilean cocktail, whose origins date back to the 19th century.

It is believed that its name comes from its color, similar to the fur of monkeys. This drink has become an icon of Christmas celebrations in Chile, where it is enjoyed at family gatherings and among friends.
